Knowledge is the most important production factor for the future of the European Union. And even though information is seemingly accessible to everyone on the internet these days, access to knowledge is not the same for everyone. Social, economic, geographical and cultural conditions determine the type of participation in the knowledge society.<\/p>\n

SoWiBeFo is a community of non-university researchers, practitioners and experts working for an innovative, sustainable and social Europe. Since 2009 we support local authorities, non-profit organisations and companies with our research work in their development process in order to help shape the European knowledge society. Verein Wissen ist der wichtigste Produktionsfaktor f\u00fcr die Zukunft der europ\u00e4ischen Union. Und auch wenn Informationen heutzutage scheinbar f\u00fcr jeden im Internet zug\u00e4nglich sind, ist der Zugang zum Wissen nicht f\u00fcr alle gleich. Soziale, \u00f6konomische, geografische und kulturelle Bedingungen entscheiden \u00fcber die Art der Partizipation an der Wissensgesellschaft. SoWiBeFo ist eine Gemeinschaft an au\u00dferuniversit\u00e4ren Forscher:innen, Praktiker:innen und Expert:innen, die sich f\u00fcr ein innovative, nachhaltiges und soziales Europa einsetzen.
