Knowledge is the most important production factor for the future of the European Union. And even though information is seemingly accessible to everyone on the internet these days, access to knowledge is not the same for everyone. Social, economic, geographical and cultural conditions determine the type of participation in the knowledge society.
SoWiBeFo is a community of non-university researchers, practitioners and experts working for an innovative, sustainable and social Europe. Since 2009 we support local authorities, non-profit organisations and companies with our research work in their development process in order to help shape the European knowledge society. As an impulse generator, supervisor, project partner, author and mouthpiece, we work to make knowledge more accessible to all people in Europe and are committed to the areas of digitalisation, sustainability, culture, health and migration.
