Prof. Dr. Alexander Herzner ist Experte für Nachhaltigkeit und Unternehmen. Er ist Professor an der Hochschule Landshut und Vertreter von Ihre Volksbank eG. Davor leitete er das Institut für Nachhaltigkeit und Ethik an der OTH Amberg- Weiden.


Alexander Krauss, M.A., ist Vorstand des Vereins für sozialwissenschaftliche Beratung und Forschung und hat an der erfolgreichen Umsetzung von über 50 internationalen Erasmus Plus-Projekten mitgewirkt.

Die Veranstaltung findet im Rahmen des Projekts „DigiFunCollab – Entwicklung digitaler Selbstlernkurse im Bereich Social Entrepreneurship für die zukünftige Zusammenarbeit zwischen Universität und Gesellschaft“ statt. Sie wird vom Erasmus Plus Programm der Europäischen Union co-finanziert. (https://digifuncollab.eu/).

SOFAR parter SoWiBeFo is pleased to announce the second part of its video series on social farming is now available to watch on YouTube. The video follows up on the first video examining the challenges to farming in rural areas and how income diversification and the social farming system are strategies to mitigate these challenges. In the video, Alexander Krauss from SoWiBeFo discusses how social farming offers chances to disabled and disadvantaged groups and how social farming can revive rural areas. At the end of the video, recommendations and conclusions are offered that are in line with of the goal of the Erasmus + SOFAR project to create sustainable opportunities for rural communities. SoWiBeFo is excited to publish the first part of a training video series for the Erasmus + project SOFAR. In this video, „Making rural areas work for diverse and disadvantaged learners,“ Alexander Krauss from SoWiBeFo discusses the foundations for understanding the opportunities and challenges faced by rural regions and introduces key concepts that reinforce inclusive and sustainable development through social agripreneurship. The video also explores the importance of activating rural potential by empowering women and other disadvantaged groups as key agents of change. We invite you to reflect critically as you watch and to consider how these insights can shape local strategies and learning pathways tailored to rural contexts.
